attended my uncle's company dinner on monday. in some restaurant in queenstown country club. i didn't know it existed, seriously. the pig didn't want to go initially, saying he needs to work and he might be mistaken as one of the workers. wadever. then because the 10-course dinner (or wadever course) sounded much, much more appealing than porridge or even instant noodles, he went. like DUH. once there, he grabbed the plate of peanuts and proceeded to stuff them all into his mouth. hello....that plate was meant for all the ppl at the table and not only himself? tt pig will never get this knowledge tru to his brain. i seriously hate eating at the same table as him. he slops, grunts, scrapes the plate clean (noisily, of course) , chews, or rather, chomps, LOUDLY. wad human eats this way you tell me. it's totally disgusting to be anywhere near him when he is eating. i have taken to stuffing my earphones into my ears and hiding out in my room until he finishes with eating all the pots and plates. i mean, the way he eats, it looks as if we never fed him in his life, such that he even has to eat the crockery. anyway, back to the dinner at the country club. it was quite fun tho, i never had so much fruit punch in my life. den it was the first time ever that i 'lou yusheng' and ate it. but i don't want to eat it again, except for the cracker bits they put on the top. it's too ginger-lish for my tastes. they started serving at about 9pm. we had almost everything, chicken, duck, fish, shark, vegetables, lobster, scallop, noodles, tofu, prawn, and my fave broccoli. by 10.30, we were wondering how many dishes were there left. it seemed never-ending. finally around 11pm, they served the dessert. phew...
earlier tt morning i went to gym with seok. we ran, cycled, lifted, and wadever we do in gyms. my ankle hurt again, must be from running the treadmill. it was my first-time and i didn't dare let go of the handles initially. i was afraid i'll roll off the conveyor belt. den when i stopped running and got off, the feeling was like the entire earth was spinning on its axis too quickly. felt so dizzy and legs rubbery. but overall was a fun experience. seok: we MUST train off all our ugly fats!
