i'm currently reading terry pratchet's novel, The Wee Free Men from the Discworld series. I'm really hooked onto his books these days. Pratchet's ability to think in alternate ways never imagined just blows my mind away. i always dread the beginnings of each novel, but i simply cannot bear to put it down. then as i delve deeper into the contents of the novel, i get more addicted and seem to be in the world itself. in this book, pratchet writes of the Wee Free Men or the Nac Mac Feegles believing that the world we are living in now is heaven and if we die here, it simply means that we live. that is to say that we are all dead here. hmm... this idea is getting me thinking more and more and i like it. i think this would work well as a religion for me... the belief that this is heaven and that's why i must do my best in here and not complain because this IS heaven. really.. the stuff pratchet thinks about is so philosophical. and it comes from simple things.

went to the dentist today. turns out that those black dots are not holes. yippee! i'm glad i don't have to have those unsightly grey stuff they call moonrock in my teeth. but the dentist said i do have a cavity tho... but it's been there since when i was in primary sch and even back then the dentist (the horrible nurse chan) had told me i didn't need fillings. the dentist i saw today said i've kept the area around the cavity clean, and there wasn't any need for fillings and instead, fillings might enlarge the cavity and cause infections. phew. i'm so happie. well, i'm going to make an appointment to the HPB's dental office to have my teeth cleaned, so watch out for my *zing-ing teeth! anybody wants to go with me?
