The plastic snowflakes swirled around in the snowglobe and floated silently to the ground, caressing the two lone figures of the nutcracker and the ballerina, locked in an everlasting kiss. Felicia gave the snowglobe one last look, and placed it gently on the bedside table. As she did so, she let her head fall back on the tear-stained pillow. Someday, she thought to herself and hummed a soft tune, someday.
